Wells,

You are most likely not moderated, there is a bug in the forum that shows the warning to all users....even those of us that are not moderated.

Had a feeling that may have been it, I had seen others posting requests and just figured why not :)

Personally I tell them to find a skin they like and let me check it pout for them.  Then they can buy it at the price the designer asks, or I'll buy it and forward the cost with no markup.  I didn't expend any real labor and the price they paid for me doing the site covers incidental stuff like that.  It's funny, but most of my customers would ask why I'm not charging for installing it.  Guess you just need to find better customers.  :)

I do the same, however I do charge them for the time I spend on the changes they may be requesting. Some skins are good but others are not very forgiving when it comes to content management. Unfortunately you only find that out when you clients are working with the skin.

Ain't that the truth.  There needs to be a "skinning standard."  I run into way too many skins that are so convoluted that figuring them out takes more time than creating from scratch would.  I'd settle for some skins just having style names that make sense.  Ran into one a few moths ago where all the CSS styles were "Style1", Style2", etc.
