You say goodbye
and I say hello hello hello

Say hello to the new Iframe 04.03.00 release, first release as a DNN4.x WSP module. It contains some bug fixes and  few enhancements, e.g. new AutoHeight feature.

Here is the full list of changes:

IFM-6790 Upgraded to DNN 4.x as WSP module
IFM-6792 Parameter Editor: save pending changes by default
IFM-6789 Added ModuleID and Locale as available parameter
IFM-5702 Frameborder attribute issue solved
IFM-5671 Argument for parameters is no longer limited to 50 chars
IFM-6851 Auto height based on content (limititation: content needs to be in the same domain as site)
IFM-6885 ALLOWTRANSPARENCY is not in any (X)HTML standard, so it is not set if false
IFM-6886 No overwrites of setting changes while adding new querystring parameters
IFM-6887 Missing some {databaseOwner} statements in 03.02.00.SqlDataProvider

The new release is available for download at the project download site.

A big thank you goes to Matthias and Timo for their attentive work during the release process, it helped creating a better release.

One year ago I was asked to take over the job as team lead for the IFrame module. It was my task to get this module back to life. I fixed some showstoppers, added a few enhancements and updated the module to the dnn4.x/ asp.net 2.0 platform.  There are no more open bugs and requests inside the tracker.

Speaking for myself, I never use IFrames or the Iframe module in my projects, so i have no deeper interests in it.

As the mission is now fullfilled, I decided  to retire from this project. So say goodbye to me as IFrame project team lead . I am going to focus my work on XML and UDT projects again.

There is currently no successor for this project announced - I don't think the IFrame project has reached the end of it's ability to be extended. The autostrech feature can still be enhanced further, and I am quite sure their are other exiting enhancements waiting for their chance.

If you are interested, please send a mail with your application. I would remain as Team Sponsor, if needed.
