I downloaded the source files for the ctive Directory provider (v1.00.00), but I cannot seem to open the .sln file.  I am using Visual Studio 2005 Professional to open it, but when I do, I get an error message saying, "The project type is not supported by this installation". Does it have to do with the fact I have VS 2005 Professional?  How can I get around this so I can open the project?

It was coded under VS2005 professional so that shouldn't be the problem. There was an add-on for VS that handled compiled projects so that might part of the problem. What happens when you open the .proj file? Or if you add the project when you've got your DNN source open?

It sounds like you need to install SP1.  Visual Studio Service Pack 1 adds the support for Web Application Projects which is what is used by the AD Provider project.
