Thanks Steve. Yes, this work around works. I'm glad I persisted. Looking forward to 4.8.1 (I guess).

It looks like I am having the exact same issue -- can't edit rich text using IE7 (but basic text works), and can't do anything with the latest version of FF.

Unlike the OP, I am running DNN 4.07.00.  I am running version 03.01.13 of the Repository module.

Have you tried unchecking "Enable AJAX" as per Steve's instructions (not sure if it's there in 4.7 and I'm not near at 4.7 install to check).

Yes, there is a setting in 4.7 to enable/disable AJAX. But if I have content on this portal or any other portals in my installation, won't this disable it?  I am not sure that is much of a solution!  :)

Not a great one but it'll work as a temporary solution so that you can update the Repository description. Disable it, update the subscription, re-enable it.
