Gurus, Please HELP ME ON this weared production problem, I just cannot understand whats the issue.

I have a liveid application created under my liveid account and its status is active and I have configured it on my production site (shared server - www.brinkster.com). Now when I try to login using Live id - here is what happens - It send me to live login page and then once I successfully login into using my hotmail account I immidiately get redirected to my production url however my site does not catch the authentication, I mean it does not login the user? user is logged in on live but when he is redirected to my production site, he is not logged in?

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS ISSUE, ITS CREATING KAYOS ON MY PRODUCTION SITE - PLEASE HELP.

I am using 4.8 Install version with all default options.

Mitch, thanks for responding. I had been hunting solution for this all across web. I tried to search on your site for "DNN LiveID Configuration and Return URL" but could not locate the post you are referring to.

Could you please be kind enough to paste the url in reply to this message?

Also, for test environment we only had the return URL set as http://localhost/dnn48test and it was working fine without any issue. For our production site we just have it set to www.myproductionsite.com that's it. What am I missing here? what should be the return URL set for the application on msn.com?

Mitch, thanks for the links. However the links do not outline what should be the return url that should be set at live.com.

However, after 3 days of trial and error, finally I figured out what should be the return url set at live.com to things to work.

Return URL should be set to :

http://<<website domain name>>/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Login/Default.aspx
