I'm using the text/HTML module to insert an image into a content pane (I tried the "media" module, but apparently that is not for .jpg images).  My image is 776 x 434 pixels in size.  When I put it into the text editor, though, it makes it 800x600.  If I reduce the size, it keeps it proportionate to 800 x 600, which makes the picture taller than I want it.  When I unlock the setting to keep proportions, it makes my image all stretched out.

Is there some place in the module or in my skin where it dictates the size of an image?  I do want the image to take up the entire module in this case.  I just can't figure out how to make it let me put the image in there at the size and proportion I want.

Thanks!

waughoo,

I was wondering if you might be able to paste the contents of the Text/HTML module's 'source' view in here. I'm curious to know what text it is generating.

Just using the options in this FCK editor, i found an image on the server and it generated the following

<p><img width="1024" height="768" src="/Portals/25/Documents/menu-dll.JPG" alt="" /></p>

and that is the actual height/width of the image.

Depending on how comfortable you are with HTML, you could always remove the height/width attributes before you save the content. That way you know it has nothing to do with the editor.

Thanks,

Ian

is it possible, that you re-uploaded image with a different size, overwriting the previously existing image with same name? In this case, the size might not have been stored correctly, try a db sync in File Manager.
