Was there a solution to this problem?  I am experiencing the exact same situation though I have not invested much time researching what may be the problem.  I'm running DNN 3.2.2.

Hi Drapp,

His site was getting about 4 million hits a month or so and he was running a default configuration of DNN.  I can't remember if the datacache issue was fixed in the version of DNN that is current now or if it's fixed in the next version to be released.

He reconfigured everything, moved the sql server to a different system and set up the IIS host as a web farm running in different app spaces and I believe most of his problems went away.
