I don't know, sounds likes coding can cause you some unnecessary pain. :)  Do you query?  You might want to try SQLGridSelectedView  .  You can create a query that lists hyperlinks to the blogs with paging.  You probably could also throw in a search so users can search for a particular user if they want.  See the example here.

Good Luck!
Mike

Impressive. I must say.

I was thinking datagrid. Then again I haven't seen the source yet, so I don't know what I am stepping into, but the smell is familiar.

Oh, wait ... Ugh.

I am looking at 4,500 potential blogs.

Um. Hmmm.

Any suggestions?

Not to take anything away from the Blog module, because it is great, but with that volume you might consider the DNNForum module. A lot of people use the forum as a way to blog. We are doing something like this on our site, coupled with the DNNReports module, to maintain and display our Release Logs to the public, but you could easily use this setup (with minor tweaking) to maintain a massive blog site and display multiple blogs with paging. The one added feature the DNNForum module provides is subscriptions to each blog. One catch is to use the Reports module to display forum posts we had to add a SQL function (easy to do with Host account) to decode the HTML stored in the Forum_Posts table. Here is our recent DNN post (example) sharing this extended functionality and how to set it up.

Good Luck!

Hi Knuckle,

What source? You don't need any.  SQLGridSelectedView is a module, you just need to work out the query.

Good Luck!
Mike
