Need some help please! Installed DNN 4.02 source on local server and opened with VS2005. Seemed to compile ok and the site ran. Next I took the source for the repository module and added the expanded contents under the Desktop modules directory. So far so good.

Next I added the dotnetnuke.repository.vbproj file to the main solution. Got a warning about project references. Now when I look in the properties of the repository module, it's lost the reference to dotnetnuke and FreeTextBox. I just want to build this from source so as to get some idea of where to start with my own module. What do I need to change to get these references back?

Also the build seems slow, it seems to build the entire project each time. Is there a way to optimise this?

I haven't looked at the Repository module, but most modules come with a project and a solution. Use this solution file instead and you should be fine. I believe that should resolve all of your isues.
