hi,
I have recently created a skin for a client and I'm having a problem with the SOLPartAction menu when logged in as admin or host in IE. The dropdown menu appears on the right edge of the screen instead of beside the menu icon. This happens in IE 5.5, 6.0, & 7 but not in Firefox 2 or Opera.

Does anyopne have anyideas where I start looking for the cause?

I have had an issue like this before due to how the menu positions itself.  It trys to find the location of the arrow icon in the window then aligns above or below it.  If you used negative margins on the body or other fancy layouts, the window that Javascript calculates can be different to the one the visitor see.

Try stripping your skin down to a basic, static layout first to see if the menu repositions properly.
