Hello,

i am trying to set up a forum module for my site. I am new to this. I am using the Forum Module version 03.20.08.

Are users enrolled to a forum by the administrator? If so, how can i add users to the forum?

Thanks!

Hello, it's me again.

ok i figured out how to add users.

My new question is this:

In order for a user to be able to post a thread, must he have "Registered Users" and "Administrators" security roles?

If so, what makes this user differ from the forum administrator?

Thanks!

You should upgrade your forum module to 4.4.3, the version you are using is so far out of date its hard for me to even remember what works and what is broken.
