How do I display the actual html code inside DNN using the FCKeditor inside the Forum, Blog or Text/HTML module?

I have tried < pre > and , < code > and I know that by adding a space between the < and the verb that it won't be rendered.

When I go into source mode and use the code tag the contents are missing inside of FCKeditor but are visible but rendered after I have submited the test to the text/html module.

You may have tried HTML comment tags, but in an attempt to avoid overthinking this one I'm going to test it out in this post by adding two hyperlinks and commenting out the first one to compare the rendering. I apologize if you're past this (insignificant?) test, but I'm curious as well.

(I hand wrote the html, so I'm not really sure if this is a valid test or even in the realm of the answer you're looking for.)

After some more testing with a text module, I think what you want to do is just type out or paste your HTML inside the FCK Editor without accessing the source code behind the editor.

I have had problems when entering html code in the editor, so I use the following.

I am entering this post, not completely sure it will work on this forum, but here is an example.
< as the left bracket, &rt; as the right, and " for quotes.

In the Source / code, you enter like the following:

<a href="http://www.tmmworld.com">
<img border=0 src="http://www.tmmworld.com/images/sm_tmmlogo.gif"></a>

The Result will look like this...

While that will cut properly out of there and paste correctly into an editor, I was hoping for a "magic tag" or method that I could paste html into so that I didn't have to worry about translation or other errors. This was for some "regex" xhtml code that I'd have to think about what characters required conversion.

In the old days wasn't there and < example > tag? Doesn't modern html have something to equal it?
