How can i write file in other directory other  then moduledir during module install (in .dnn file)?

example i have  DesktopModules/Mymodule/ and i would write a file in  /admin/ or in Components/

 

 <file>
<path>[Components]</path>
          <name>Settings.ascx</name>
        </file>

but does not work. How ?

You can't instal using .dnn file. Just copy it to appropriate folder.

I learn this from Speerio Control Panel module. :)

Maybe the next version the core functionality will be upgraded to support this kind of scenario.

For the protection of the DNN site, you can only place files inside your module folder OR the AppCode folder.
