Hi

I am having a few issues creating a new portal.  I have set up my new domain name and then when i went to create a new portal I have had a few problems.  First of all does anyone know why I have got to choose a template?  This doesnt make any sense at all.  I only have one template that is based upon my current site which has 187 pages.  I really do not want to create that many pages or create a site that is based upon my previuos site at all.

Why is this thing asking for a template.  Is this a bug. And before nayone gets this mixed up a template is not a skin I belive

Thansk for any advice

by default dotnetnuke comes with two portal templates: one called DotNetNuke, and one called Portal. Did you by any change delete those?

ERRRMMM

Thats intresting.  There is a possibility that I did.  Where do these templates reside.  And are they the same in all versions.

As I am currently using 04.06.02

Thanks for your reply
