Hi

I seem to be getting myself in to a a bit of a pickle here.  I have 4 domains regsitered with a company in England.  All of which I have set up the DNS settings to point to Ihostasp.net.  These domains work fine with DNN.  I am having problems figuring out the email situation will work though.

I am only allowed one primary domain with IHOSTASP, which I have added.  I have then added my admin@mysite.com email address.  The other 3 domains I have added as domain Aliases.  Everything works fine apart from the fact that I can only add email addresses for my primary domain in IHOSTAP.  Only allowed one domain on the account.

So i thought I could use my English hosting company (where my domains are), to forward my other domains emails to my admin@mysite.com.  Now they do do free email forwarding but I get a message stating that I cant do this because my Mail server settings are not theres and are IHOSTASPs mail server settings.  Making sense, probably not!

Well it seems that I can only use my UK hosting companies free email forwarding services if I use their DNS servers. Crap any ideas how I might get around this

Thanks for your help is any is forthcomming.

Paul

Does the hosting company have an SMTP relay that you can use?

You could look at using e-mail hosting from another provider to have e-mail accounts for the other domains.  You would need to have DNS entries updated to accomplish it but it can be done.
