Hello -

I am kinda new to DNN. I am an ASP VBscript code writing guy and I am migrating a site to DNN and am having some trouble "recreating" some of my stuff.

I may be missing something simple here, but maybe someone can help me...

lets say I have a page where I have set up a User Defined Table that certain users can enter data. I would like that same data to be displayed on the homepage (filtered a little differently)

in old ASP, I would just do a recordset call from the database and place it on whatever page I wanted to display that data.

Im am having some trouble in dnn creating the same effect.

bottom line question - how can I get data entered in one user defined table to be displayed on a different page?

or is there a different way to do this in dnn?

thanks for any suggestions

Why don't you try just copying the module from the page containing the UDT to the homepage? You can do this using the control panel to do this.

Also, check out the DNN documentation (downloadable from the same place as you can get the app itself) as it goes over plenty of items in great detail. This will be helpful since you mentioned that you are new to DNN.
