I am trying to attach a word document to an announcement and keep getting...

File type doc is not valid in this context. Valid File Types Include: jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif, bmp, png, swf

I went to Host settings and checked the file types listed and doc is already there along with several others that are not in the list above. If I am looking at wrong setting, can someone please let me know where to add .doc file type?

Thanks.

You are probably trying to link it to the image. Obviously, only image types are allowed to display an image. You should use the "Link" field (select type "File") to link to a file in your portal.
