Thanks for you help Ian, I had spent ages messing about trying to get it working. All sorted now thanks to your information.

still working on content, if you have time to browse and advise on any possible improvements I'd be grateful.

Thanks again, Alan.

Alan,

I'm glad everything worked out, and you're welcome for the assistance!

Looks like your site is off to a good start.  For your business, obviously, content is your greatest asset.  So keep working in that direction and adding content about your products and maybe even some general information that is helpful to your prospective customers.

While I do not recommend following in the footsteps of their designer by making your site look like theirs, you might want to take a tip from a local bike shop here in St. Louis and include guides and how to articles.  Check out the Big Shark Bicycle Co website to see some of their articles. Including any community information would be really neat too, as a cyclist myself I really enjoy knowing about local events and group rides -- even if I don't necessarily attend them too frequently :)

I might suggest also looking into finding or purchasing a skin for your site.  After all you want to present your products and portray your image as best as you can.  Have you looked into any of the available skins? There are tons of free skins and tons of commercial skins available out there...some commercial options can be found at the DotNetNuke Marketplace and an especially great skin is Engage Software's Adaptive DotNetNuke Skin -- which comes highly recommended as it has an extremely clean and professional look.

Great start on your site Alan and I look forward to seeing your progress!

Take care,

Ian
