I've been using DNN since 2.0 and I've been frustrated about a situation I frequently find myself in and wonder why it hasn't been addressed yet. I'm constantly going into a site to do maintenance and I find a module whose title has been customed and I can't figure out which module is being used. For example, I have 3 different types of content rotator modules installed on various instances of DNN. Yet, I don't know which of the modules is being deployed on a given instance. At the top of every module setting page, it should display the vendor, name and version of that module. Sometimes I have to run manual queries against the database just to find out this basic information. Am I the only person who struggles with this issue?

Yes I agree, although I would only want the module's Friendly Name and the Module description displayed. This would allow me to show useful names and descriptions in a place more visible and accessible to users with page edit permissions than the Module Definitions page - which is only visible to the host account anyway. I guess the version number would be ok to have there as well as it would assist in support situations.

I suggest putting this in at support.dotnetnuke.com

Something similar was actually just discussed the other day, I too think this is a great idea.
