Hi there!

i am Sahil. I am working  on DNN 4.7 from last 3 months.

i want to make new Module. I am writing Defination so pls suggest me what 'll i have to do?

 Role:Faculty,Admin

Def:

Faculty will upload File and fill profile detail adn save. And every change will be shown after approving by admin.
Faculty will manage thier profiles.

What i want to do?: I want to use "profile.ascx" webusercontrol and thier facilitise.I want to use in-built functionality of DNN 4.7 so my coding part will be reduse. So i want to customize control according to my def. so i can use the "manage user profile control" facilities too. and other functionalities.

 

So, now suggest me above point is right or not proper.

or other suggestion.

 

Pls reply me.

I would have a look at the guide as Sebastian suggested, then for the documents process you will need to get the source for the module if you are looking to add the approval workflow into the system.

Please note that the currently released version of the module is an ASP.NET 1.1 solution and requires VS 2003 to edit it or you will be forced to update the project for use in 2005!

actually  i want to use inbuilt webusercontrol of DNN like "profile.aspx" and other

i want to use these control in my custom module is it possiable?

i want to use control bcoz i want manage user profile with my customization.

pls help me.

actually  i want to use inbuilt webusercontrol of DNN like "profile.aspx" and other too.{profile.aspx located in admin->users->profile.ascx}

so if U know how to use this control in our custom control than help me.
