When I customize User Settings in the Admin/User Accounts module, they seem to be working at first, but after I log out they go back to the original values.  I tried everything, using both - Admin and Host accounts with the same result.  Settings appear to be saved at first, but they go back to default configuration after awhile.  This is EXTREMELY annoying!

this sounds odd, I just tried and did not encounter this issue. Which setting are you altered specifically? Besides, does this happen in single or multiportal installation?

I am having the exact same problem in DNN 4.70.  The settings seem to hold for a random length of time, and then go back to the defaults.  Checked the logs and no indication of what this problem could be.

OK, I found the problem.  It is linked to the Forum module (I am running 4.4.3).  For some reason, when users access the Memberlist or personal settings, the User Accounts --> User Settings revert back to defaults.
