I'm running DNN 4.8. My existing portals work fine. However, beginning with DNN 4.7 (I think) and even now, with DNN 4.8, I get "Error creating Portal" when attempting to add a new portal.

Nothing is logged in Event Viewer to give me even the slightest clue as to where to start to trouble-shoot this problem. I'd be grateful for any ideas on what I should be checking to get this resolved.

Try creating a portal using each of the different template types. I think there are some that don't work, and some that do.

After reporting this on Gemini, I was told to work it out on the forums. Unfortunately, the forums haven't helped me, either. I still have the problem.

At this point, I'm willing to engage someone who really knows DNN to get this working for me. Any recommendations as to someone who is well qualified and trustworthy?
