Just noticed that after upgrading DNN to DNN4.7 any of my links modules that link to files on my site now give users a "You Do Not Have Permission To View The Requested File" anytime they click the link.  From other threads on this same topic this appears to be a bug with DNN 4.7.

Does anybody know how to fix it quickly?

It usually comes back after some re-syncing and reapplication of folder permissions all the way up the tree. I don't know if there's a Gemini ticket in about it but it's certainly happening to a lot of ppl since 4.7

I've also disabled the Scheduled file sync upon recommendation and this seems to have stopped a lot of file and permissions issues. Perhaps check that as well.

make sure, you have granted view permission in file manager for the folders, where the files are stored

When I upgraded form 4.4.1 to 4.8 I saw permissions reset on several portals. I had to go into file manager and fix them manually.
