I'm using a customised login object in my site. I've copied the original signin.ascx and signin.ascx.vb from the admin/security folder to the desktopmodules/customlogin folder. The only thing I've done is defining classes to the td's. I used the classes in my stylesheet to add a color and a rounded corner. I've registered the customlogin.ascx as as skinobject. That's because I use this customlogin in my 8 skins. It's positioned in the right corner of each page. It works fine, but i'm getting errors.

Each time a logged in user visits a page, i'm getting the same error in my logfiles. If I look in my signin.ascx.vb I see this is not recognized by my visual studio:

Imports DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users. A green line is apearing below this line. I also see some errors in visual studio which are reffering to a couple of variables like  ctlProfile and ctlPassword. I think these are used in DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Users.

Did you change the namepace of the control at all?  Or just simply copy it?

EDIT: Also, do you have access to the event log of the server?  That may help clear things up too.  I know sometimes these cryptic errors can be tricky.

EDIT #2: One more thing... I swear this will be it.. when you opened the files in Visual Studio, did you open *just* the .ascx and/or .ascx.vb or did you open the entire DNN Solution file?

I didn't change the namespace at all, is this a mistake?

I only opened the .ascx and ascx.vb, not the solution.
