I'm not sure if I post this question in right place.

Here is a problem:

I have a multi-portal system. Parent, Child1, Child2 and Child3. I'm using DNNMasters Multi Portal User Sharing for portal user sharing and single login.  I already tested this and I was able to sign in at any child portal and access Parent's forum as a common place, using links from children. But then user from any child portal accesses forum as Parent's forum. He just simply goes to Parent's forum. What I want, is that user's ability to open common (Parent's) forum in child's ContentPane without parent's menu, logo etc.

Here is my scenario:

user at Child1 (or any child portal) clicks Forum menu item at Child1 and forum (Parent's forum or common forum) opens in the same portal (Child1) in ContentPane. User see's normal Child1 page (logo, menu, etc) and a forum in ContentPane.

I'm new to DNN but I suspect DNN using master pages. So, it probably would look like Child1 master page with Parent's forum in content pane.
I would greatly appreciate any ideas or pointing in right direction or to any helpful readings.
Thanks

The DotNetnuke is only using one Masterpage, and handels the Portals by Portal ID.  So I am now not sure what you meen.  The Forum can be used as seperatly module on each Child Portal.  All Child Portals are working as a seperate Page and can not use a Forum from a other Portal.

Kind Regards

Matthias

Matthias,

I want to have only one forum for entire system. Only one forum for Parent and Children portals. For instance, I want this forum to use Parent's Master page if user opens it from Parent portal, and I want the forum to be under Child's Master page if it's open from Child portal.

Thanks

The entire forum module, and just about every other DNN module, stores things using PortalID. Regardless of you using DNNMaster's sharing module/API, this is not going to allow forum data to be used across multiple portalID's.
