Hi DNN's

Does anyone know of an "module rotator" for DNN? What I would like is to have a module in which I could select e.g. three existing modules (HTML) and then display a random module from those three. I need it for the "root page" for a site.

I tried simulating the effect using javascript, but it's a little difficult to reference an entire module since the HTML generated is less than pretty (not very well structured)

mm

I have done this before alo ith javascript

have 3 div with a special id , in there have 3 contentpane divs

the use javascript ato generate randomimage from 1 to 3 adn you set the style of the given div dynpanel1, dynpanel2 or dynpanel3 to display:none

There are several of these rotator modules but the output of the script is crap the html is garbage and its much easier to do yourself and you save afew buck on low quality modules

Hi again.

Thanks for the fast reply. I tried your approach at first - and it almost worked.

The problem was that the module titles are not enclosed within the surrounding div tags. The div tags only surround the actual module content (which is created using a table) - not the title nor the spacerbar following the module content (that kinda su...).

Also - creating div tags around the module creates overlaping tags. I recieved overlapping div and span tags...

 Hi Carsten.

digRotate will rotate modules.  You can display them in rotator template, tabs template or no template.  You can transition them with fades and slites..  You can also rotate Text/HTML content and Banners.  It also includes a snazzy Flash rotator.

Thanks,
Mike
