Sahil there's no need for a C# version of DNN. The whole point of the .NET framework is that you can write code in whichever format you want and it'll work. So in DNN's case you can write modules in C# (see the Cardspace, LiveID, and OpenID providers) and they'll plug right into the DNN core and work.

Also, there's a DNN release well within the 5 or 6 months that you mention above so anyone running a C# version of DNN would always be behind the current version. It doesn't make sense to recreate work that doesn't need to be done.

IMHO,

there is a need for a C#version of DNN.

For instance if you want to extend the registration/profile  module you need

to know VB.NET. For me this is impossible to do(to learn another langauge).

Somehow there must be a DNN core in C#.
