Hi, has anyone done this? Is there a guide about this topic? Thanks for your help.

I am personally not aware of anyone who has done this.  And so do not believe there is a guide available.

However, if you were to embark on this project... I am sure that you would get some help around here and find more than a few folks topically interested.

Cheers

are there any plans to implement .NET Passport capability?
if it was implemented, it probably should be available in addition to the standard register/login process that DNN already implements.

When I seen this post I said to myself "Hey what a pretty cool idea."  So I started looking into it.

It seems to me that it would be a really expensive pain in the rear end for the developer and the end users.  Something that a really big site could probably get some benefits from but for 90% of everyone else just plain not worth the trouble and cost.

Please note, that there will be major changes to the membership provider in DNN3.3/4.1, that might even make it easier, to write an additional provider e.g. for passport. Have a look at Charles Nurse's Blog for details.
