I'm trying to do some SEO and I need to find a way to put the title tag as the first thing in the head section. I used the page settings to try to accomplish this, but DNN automatically puts in other meta tags beforehand.

Thank you for any suggestions,

It looks like you can move the CSS placeholder in default.aspx up to the top of your page, before the META tags, though I think DNN will still spit out the CSS links before the title. To do more than that you'll have to get into the code and modify it yourself.

Thanks for the suggestion. So basically play around with CSS and if that doesn't work, actually modify the DNN source code? Looks like I have some work to do. Thanks again.

No, you actually won't be modifying the CSS, just moving the CSS section to the top of the page. That will only half solve your problem though as the title will be above the META tags, but the CSS includes will still be above the title, until you modify the source of DNN.

And if this is in fact an SEO issue then detail it in the bug tracker and I'm sure it'll get picked up pretty quick seeing as it sounds easy to fix.
