We just finished a new image gallery for a client and I wanted to get some feedback.  It combines the administrative features of Simplegallery with the visual appearance of Slideshowpro.

http://www.owingsbrothers.com/

To access the gallery click on one of the links on the right.  Whole House Remodels is the only section with sub galleries.  The flash movie on the homepage is also being fed from the simple gallery database table.

Thanks for any feedback!

Very nice!

If you're live, I am sure your client must have liked it.

I like it too! Well done!

great job, i really like it.  I have a question.  What did you do on the homepage to display the changing pictures?  That is exactly what I am looking to do and am coming up empty.  Advice needed.....

Thank you both for the compliments.

We basically have an aspx page http://www.owingsbrothers.com/simplegalleryxml.aspx  that creates an xml file on the fly. If you view the source of that page you can see how we have the xml laid out.  The flash player finds the default gallery image for each album from the simplegallery database and displays it.

If you need help with the flash side of things, Kirupa.com has some good tutorials on parsing xml files.
