When we user the feedback form with a drop down list of available subjects showing on the form the feedback module works as expected. When we change the advance settings --> to "Hide Subject" and select the default subject drop down we receive the following error when posting feedback:

Error: Feedback is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Feedback.Feedback.cmdSend_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Can you help us determine what the problem is? It seems to us that the "Hide Subject" may have a bug...

Keith - can you try changing the default subject dropdown to "nothing" and then click on the hide subject radio button? Does this work for you?

Thx for the reply,

Can you clarify (and I am not intending to nit-pick) but, are you saying that we should remove the other items in the subject drop down, and insert a value named "nothing" or are you suggesting that we remove all items in the list, then enable the hide radio button?

TIA,

Keith

What I meant was to change the dropdown list to be the first item (which I believe is nothing). Then you can select the enable hide subject radio button. This effectively is saying that do not use a valid subject from the dropdown list...

We would like to have a subject appended to the message, a different subject for different instances of the feedback module on different pages, but we do not want the end user to see that specified subject, nor do we require them to change it. We have set up a list of several subject options, and we have specified the default drop down value, for each instance, and we want to hide that option for the end user (feedback poster).

TIA,

Keith Waldron
