We setup some blogs that when the blog was published, required approval for comments (anonymous and registered) as well as requiring approval trackbacks.

Can we go back and un-select those options and then have the comments and trackbacks publish?

We've done this and the comments and trackbacks still do not show when viewing the blog. Is there another steup we are missing or do the changes to the blog settings only apply to future comments and trackbacks?
