Good Morning,

I have some problems with permissions in my DNN. He is in a server and i just can manipulate files or create folders... anything that include files in the DNN.

When i was trying to delete some image in the 'File Manager' this was the error thar occurred me:

An error has occurred.

Error Deleting File: Portal Root\\book_packt1.jpg
Access to the path \'Portal Root\\book_packt1.jpg\' is denied.

i realy don't understant why it's happening when i gave read and write permission to the ASP user in my DNN folder and i have enforced this permission to the subfolders,,,

anyone knows what is happening?

thanks in advance

READ and WRITE don't permit a deletion.  Or a change to an existing file.  If you read the documentation, that's why MODIFY permission is required.
