Basic worked for my SMTP setting with my network solutions email, thanks again!

Is there any documentation on how to configure SMTP for GMAIL? I read Google's settings to configure the server to smtp.gmail.com:465 with SSL but I'm still unable to send email.

Thanks,

Google's documentation is the documentation.  You'll need to describe what "Unable to send mail" actually means.  Error messages?  Log entries?

So - I've tried both settings (the prior post) and the the link above. However, I still get an:

"There has been an error trying to send the test email. The error is:
Failure sending mail. Unable to connect to the remote server

I've tested with multiple email accounts in case that's the issue but I've triple-checked the credentials for the accounts I've used.

Does anyone have any additional suggestions on how to get this working?

thanks! - Jeff
