Hi everyone,

I am trying an upgrade from 4.7.x to 4.8.0 .  The problem I am having is that each time I try to upgrade, It creates a new website with the dotnetnuke look and not my initial structure with child sites.  In my web config file, I have modified the proper connection strings and have also changed the different keys from the original site.  But still, when I access the site after the upgrade, it goes through the motion of asking for Host and admin passwords and website name, and ....  So I end up with my original site wiped and left with nothing but a plain page.

What am I doing wrong?  I am using the upgrade file from the download page.

Help!!

you are obviously not providing the correct connection strings, objectQualifier and databaseOwner, as used in pre-upgrade installation. Double check both connection strings (I suggest to remove the commented alternate settings) and try again.
