i insralled SP2 server 20003 got this error:

As your error states, you will need to modify your web.config to find out what the error is.  Then you will at least have an idea of how to proceed.

now i get mycustompage.htm?aspxerrorpath=/Default.aspx in the address bar and a 404

Make sure you've switched your site/virtual directory to .NET 2.

i verified in the web service and on the site it's self and asp.net 2. is enabled
