joeyjoe4420,

I'd like to clarify your problem.  You have a DNN site set up - you've given the asp.net or network service account appropriate permissions to the directory, but you are finding that in certain cases you have to give specific user accounts 'full control'?

What symptoms are you seeing that are corrected when you apply those permissions to a specific account?

Thanks,

Ian

You should never allow the Guest account full control of anything.  DNN doesn't use it anyway.

joeyjoe4420,

While very revealing in a number of ways, the above post does not reveal the symptoms of your DotNetNuke related issue. Could you provide any more information about the symptoms you are seeing on your site? What is the exact issue on your DotNetNuke site that you are trying to correct by applying the permission mentioned above? I would very much like to help you, but will require a bit more information about this specific issue.

Take care,

Ian
