Hello...

Is it possible to modify existing core module and create new module from it?
I went to see the core modules but they seem not come with the source code.

Please help

All core modules come with source included. But you have to use the "source" package to be able so get the source. Install the package as you would normally do and all module sources will be installed in their appropriate folders.

Hi vmasanas thanks for the answer.

I still not sure which folders they are. Could you please give me an example of a path? I.e. for events module.
Is the folder inside the "<root>/desktopmodules/events"?

Because in here I couldn't find any source code (only found the ascx/usercontrol files)

Thanks

Hi There,

For some reason, the module source is not included in 4x source downloads. I found the source in the 3.0.4 legacy download. They are under the desktopmodules folder.
