Setting the visibility settings for a column impacts all instances of the module that are copied. Is there anyway around this? We would like to keep ALL of our data in a single UDT but only expose certain columns based on certain criteria.

For example, if we are adding items in the master list that have a part number, manufacturer, weight, color and size, some of the items of a certain type will not have any data for "color" so we don't want to display that field in another instance of the module yet we need the field available when we use a separate instance of the module on another page for items that DO have a color.

You can handle this with a custom XSL script or with reports5 and UDT as datasource.
