Hi guys,

I had the same problem after installing DNN 4.08 on Vista with IIS7, running on port 88 i.e  http://localhost:88.

IN the web.config I commented out the <trust level> line and added to <appSettings> section UsePortNUmber = true, ie <add key="UsePortNUmber" value="true" />

This fixed it for me

Have you tried commenting out the trust level entry alltogether.

I found that it didn't matter what value it was set to it didn't work until I removed it

Mine is:

    <!-- set code access security trust level - this is generally set in the machine.config
    <trust level="Medium" originUrl=".*" />
     -->
