I had a quick question about the forgot password functionality.  By default, does dnn not allow the e-mailing of host user account passwords?  I have tried several times to send my password to my e-mail using my superuser account and receive a password that is encrypted: "Password: *******".  I have gone as far as changing my web.config file to state that the password format should be "Clear" but it doesn't seem to change the host password that is sent.  Please let me know.

Thanks in advance

The behavior you're experience is by design.  The Host Accounts are the only accounts that DNN will not send the passwords for.  As you might imagine, the Host accounts are the most important accounts, as they give control over all aspects of the site and its child portals, user information, etc.

You have two options in finding out the password, either change it using another host account, or retrieve the password programmatically within a module.

If I don't have another host account, how to I retrieve the password programmatically within a module?  I'm really stuck.
