Hi,

I have created new user role to allow view of my DNN.  I was playing with the page setting on my home page(I only have one page) and gave permission to view (only) for this user role.  Now, problem arise since when i visit the my DNN, it does not recognize if I belong to that specific user role because this user role requires login.....Grrrrrr....In other words, I can't visit to my site at all.

Is there table in DNN where i can configure value of page setting?  or if you guys have any other suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you in advance.

Assuming that your site still has the default TabId's for the administrative pages and you can login as administrator, try the following:

Append "/Admin/Tabs/tabid/40/Default.aspx" to your website address then navigate to this url. The login page should appear. Login as administrator after which you should land on the "Pages" tab. Highlight the home page in the list of pages then click on the pencil icon to open the page's settings after which you should be able to reconfigure the home page permissions to allow "All Users" to view it.

If that doesn't work, there are other ways . . .

Are you not even met with a login?  Here is a way to force the login:

http://blog.strohlsitedesign.com/Blog/tabid/66/EntryID/118/Default.aspx

If that doesn't work, add the appropriate tab id to this query, and then run it.  If it runs successfully, then restart IIS and go back to your web site.

INSERT INTO [dbo].[TabPermission](
 [TabID],[PermissionID],[AllowAccess],[RoleID],[UserID])
VALUES(
 TABID
 ,3
 ,1
 ,0
 ,NULL
)
