I don't get notifications from dotnetnuke.com either.  And I also get the notice about moderation even though I'm not moderated.  I thought this was not supposed to happen in the latest version of the forums module (but I don't have much experience with this module anyway).

Calos, the Moderation Notification is a known issue and want to fix in next release.  About you did not get notifications from dotnetnuke.com it can be that the E-Mail server filters it.

Our email server only adds 'Spam' notices to email but keeps it all. The mail software takes the spam identified into a junk mail folder so we can make sure nothing is lost (eg. client is currently losing all of our email due to mail server filter).

For us, it seems DNN forum notifications, with www.dotnetnuke.com and our own site are the only things not working.

It has been almost 4 months since any reply to this thread.

Has there been any progress on this matter?

Does anyone know (or care) when the notification feature will be fixed.

This is a critical error in a key module for the entire DNN community. How can you compete with other CMS systems if one of your core components doesnt have a critical feature that every other forum made since the late 1990's supports.

And then knowing that there is an error and ignoring it for months on end does not create a comfort level to anyone evaluating CMS systems.

I realize that this is Open Source and done on a volunteer basis, however, we choose to use DNN because of the level of professionalism and support provided by the community (vs. the larger less professional communites involved in the more traditional LAMP solutions)

Please help us in this matter.

Thank you,
--Steven

Issue is fixed, but will come with the next release soon it is posible.  We had to fix or make enhancements on many other things.  But we are closer to the next version.
