Hi I'd like to add a hyperlink to a child portal to a skin I use in a parent portal.

So,if my parent portal is www.parentportal.com I'd like to have the hyperlink take me to www.parentportal.com/childportal

I know I can use <a href="?portalid=1"> to take me to my child, but I'd really like the URL to show as www.parentportal.com/childportal.  I've also tried <a href="<%= HostPath %>childportal/default.aspx">, but the URL is still a little messy.

Has anyone tried something similar that they can share?

Thanks for your help.

Why not just create the link to http://www.parentportal.com/childportal - the skinning engine should ignore a full http:// link
