Hi

I seem to be having the same problem.

The users in the domain are not able to Auto-Login i am using the 1.00.03 version of AD Provider.

When i surf to http://intranet/DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/ActiveDirectory/WindowsSignin.aspx it presents me with the windows login box. I am not running IIS 6

Can you please help

Vineet, is the site part of your Intranet Sites or Trusted Sites in Internet Options? When it isn't is normally when the IIS Windows login box shows up.

Mike,

Here is the server version config

OS Name:  Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Enterprise Edition
Version: 5.2.3790 Service Pack 2 Build 3790
Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "5.2.3790.3959 (srv03_sp2_rtm.070216-1710)"
Fully Patched
Windows 2003 AD domain
Need any more info?

Also, if I disable the 'DotNetNuke Authentication Settings'  provider and enable the 'Active Directory Settings' provider I get the meassare:
No providers are enabled - the standard DotNetNukemassage Authentication provider will be used"

Is that correct. I'm wondering is the AD provider installed correctly?

Cheers,

Simon

I'll try to get some testing done today to see if I can duplicate any of the problems you're getting.

Simon, I just tested on three separate installs (my dev system, my server at home, and our server at work) and can't duplicate the issue. All I can suggest at this point is for you to uninstall the provider, make sure the row concerning the AD provider has been removed from the AuthenticationTypes table, that the directory is completely removed from DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices, and that the .dll is removed from the bin/Providers directory. Then try either re-installing the .02 beta or download the 03 beta from my website.

I'm having the same issue as above. When I select only the AD provider I get an error message saying that "no provider is selected". I would like to try the downgrade to 1.0.2, but I cannot find it on your site.
