I'm a newbie to web development and design.  (I havn't published anything yet)  I've started designing some pages in Photoshop, and I'm not sure how I would get those custom designs properly saved and loaded into this dnn system.  I understand the slicing tool that is availible in Photoshop, but iwhat do I need to know to get the page template that I've designed loaded in?

Wow...  That is kind of a broad question.  I would suggest first learning about the skinning engine.  There is a Skinning Guide (PDF) on this page:

There are also some good resources on this topic at DnnCreative.com.  Finally, you might even consider looking into getting a book.  There are several good ones out there.

Maybe this will help... I am not a skinner, by no means. But I do know how to FUBAR them.

Ryan Morgan, at www.arrownuke.com, has a good video tutorial on skinning (I just watched it Monday) and he uses the Photoshop slicer thing to get started.

Nice!  I met Ryan at a session he gave on "Real World Skinning" (another video).  He is a great guy and VERY talented.  Take copious notes on his videos.  :)
