When I try to load our DNN site, I get a page that says

Upgrading DotNetNuke
Current Assembly Version: 04.06.02
Current Database Version: 04.08.00

I believe the difference in Assembly and Database versions are causing this problem. We installed the 4.8 upgrade, then realized the issue with the AD provider. We then restored the 4.6 DNN files from a backup we created before the upgrade to 4.8. And now we get this Upgrading DotNetNuke page. I have clicked the "Click Here To Access Your Portal" link, yet it only takes me back to this same page.

I'm assuming we need to downgrade the database version to 4.6. Is that correct? If so, does anyone know how we go about doing this?

yes, you would need to downgrade the database. To do this you'll have to restore from a database backup - theres no schema/data history built into dotnetnuke. If you don't have a backup, then perhaps try upgrading to 4.8, but not upgrading the AD provider.

Hi, I have the same problem.

I want to revert to 4.8.0 from 4.9.0. But I haven't resent database backup. I have only archive of 4.8.0. files.

Would explain what does it mean "perhaps try upgrading to 4.8, but not upgrading the AD provider"?

Isn't there some way only to change DB version?

Thanks,

Deyana

reverting to earlier versions is not supported.  Your problem does not sound like it has anything to do with Active Directory... are you using Active Directory Authentication?

Sorry, I am not enough familiar with dnn and don't know what you mean. I upgraded my site but something was not OK with my menus - they weren't translated well. I decided to revert my files and recieve this message:

Upgrading DotNetNuke
Current Assembly Version: 04.08.04
Current Database Version: 04.09.00 ...
