This feature is amazing and it's working very well, with one exception.  I am hoping someone knows what to do about it, or perhaps what I am doing wrong.

Export a Portal as a Template, Include Content.

Create a new portal, with above as template.

Look at a modules' settings...Did they transfer?  Mine are not.  I have a mix of custom and core modules.

So now all my modules have to be configured.  That's a lot of extra work.  Did I miss something? or is this intentional?

Thanks,

Brian

Hello Brian

Have you resolved your problem?

I have faced with the same problem + problem with links on previous tab id that are not changed automatically after migration on new instance

Thank you

Brian, with module settings it is up to the modules themselves to decide which settings they export/important, in my experience most modules don't use this functionality. They should, but don't.
