I've created a packaged module assembly and everything works fine except 1 thing, the DLL's are NOT saved to the /Bin folder. Instead, it created a /Module sub-directory under the /Bin folder and locates them there. Does anyone know why this behavior is happening? Moving them up allows the module to function.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jon

hi jon.

just check your Module.DNN file and check all the path of the file.

and also check the zip file. All contents of the module -- webusercontrol,css etc... and also dll -- directly added to zip file. so there is no folder in the ZIP file

IS THIS A BUG?

There's nothing in the Module.DNN file that leads to this behavior. I even attempted to add the <path> statement for the DLLs and the Module directory still gets created and populated with my DLLs. FYI, I am using a fresh copy of the DNN Source. I am making a few changes to the Announcements Module source and recompiling using Michael's Compiled Assemblies tutorial.

<file>
<name>DotNetNuke.Modules.Announcements.dll</name>
</file>
<file>
<name>DotNetNuke.Modules.Announcements.SqlDataProvider.dll</name>
</file>

Any ideas here?

Jon
