I just try to use 3Essentials to setup my DNN portals. But I found their SSL setting seems can't compatiable with DNN's framework.

Does anyone know how to merge their shared SSL with DNN portal in certain pages only? ex: login page, some form for user data?

Thank you~~

I am not sure if this is possible, as the SSL portion of a website is stored in a separate file system httpsdocs rather than httpdocs.

Have you contacted their support by chance to see what they have to say?  They are very good with respondng to that type of question.

Just get a response, the shared SSL needs to have the URL like : https://ssl18.3essentials.com/your_virt_dir. Or I need to

adding a static/unique IP address to my site and  purchase of an SSL certificate to get a dedicated SSL. They have a description in page

http://knowledge.3essentials.com/web-hosting/article/129/What-is-Shared-SSL-and-how-do-I-use-it.html

I am using WEB18 now.

Of course, I would like to used shared SSL if it's possible(Because I just want to test the DNN's SSL function in hoster, no real request now.). But I am not sure how to integrate the shared SSL integrate to DNN. I found the DNN setting page have a input box for user to input some URL, but I am not sure what is it real use case. Does anyone have such experience before?

Eric,

You should be able to redirect your shared SSL to HTTPDOCS instead of the infmous HTTPSDOCS. This is an option available in Plesk 8.2.

This would solvethe DNN compatibility issue. As I face thesame issue.

Regards and Good Luck
